Rohan Young has Joined StrawberryFrog Amsterdam as executive
creative director. He will report to Kevin McKeon, who leads the
global Emirates Airline creative and Scott Goodson, the agency
founder and Chairman, and will partner with David Warner based in
Amsterdam. Most recently, Young was at BBDO Paris, serving as the
BAL creative leader for Proctor & Gamble in the EMEA markets.
He started his career as an art director in Australia and has
worked on brands including Gillette, British Airways, Qantas,
Pepsi, and Mars.
Blast Radius has made two new appointments. The agency's New York office has hired Silvia Cavalcanti to the role of senior strategy director. Cavalcanti has over 10 years experience in business strategy consulting, brand planning and innovation consulting for the CPG and retail industries. She has worked at Deloitte & Touche, Sapient Nitro, and BBDO-NY. At Blast Radius she will primarily be leading its Novartis OTC brands. Meanwhile, Blast Radius Seattle has recruited Tyrone Samson as associate creative director. Samson has had roles at JDK, Razorfish and Schematic, and will be working on accounts including Starbucks and Microsoft.
Saatchi & Saatchi divisioon Team One has hired Jod Kaftan as its director of experience design, beginning November 1. Kaftan has worked at Razorfish as both an informationarchitect and content strategist, and at Schematic (now Possible Worldwide), as a senior UX designer. He has managed editorial operations for CitySearch and AOL and has been published by Rolling Stone, Los Angeles Times Magazine, Salon, This American Life and The New York Times Book Review.
