Discovery Channel "Milk Truck"
The Association of Independent Creative Editors gathered in New York Tuesday night to honor the best commercials editing in 11 categories, and Big Sky Editorial's Chris Franklin walked away with two of the annual awards. Two cuts Franklin did for Discovery Channel, spots titled "Milk Truck" and "Antlers," were honored in the categories of Comedy and Music/Sound, respectively. Lost Planet also captured two awards: one in the Graphics category for the Target commercial "Raining Bullseyes," edited by Paul Martinez, and another in the Montage category for an American Express Commercial starring Robert DeNiro and edited by Hank Corwin.

Other winners included Go Robot's Adam Liebowitz for IBM (Dialogue); Homestead's Sam Welch for Coinstar (Local Spot); Chrome's Hal Honigsberg for his work on the HP "Picture Book" campaign (National Campaign); Version2's Vito DeSario for the ONDCP (Public Service); Terminal's Mark Goodman for the spec spot "Little Busey; Angus Wall of Rock Paper Scissors for Nike's "Magnet" (Storytelling); and PS 260's Maury Loeb for the Adidas commercial "Unstoppable" (Visual Effects).
