Coke, Berlin Cameron Ready "Real" Effort

As 2002 comes to an end, the buzz machine is really humming about what will almost certainly be the most-talked-about campaign of early 2003: Berlin Cameron Red Cell's sweeping and much-anticipated "Real" campaign for Coca-Cola. According to sources familiar with the project, the effort is tentatively set to break the week of Jan. 13 and will include a first flight of work featuring narrative spots, celebs and music video-style promos.

In the first category, directorial collective Traktor has reportedly shot five spots featuring young adults in their natural habitats -- hanging around at a local convenience store, driving around on a Friday night, receiving a care package from home -- that drive home the real part Coke plays in their lives. Anonymous Content director David Fincher, meanwhile, is shooting a spot featuring husband and wife actors Courteney Cox Arquette and David Arquette, while Partizan's Chris Robinson is bringing his video skills to bear on a spot featuring a pair of up-and-coming R&B talents.
