In a new image campaign for Comedy Central, the cable channel takes aim at its viewers, who are portayed as unapologetic oddballs in four spots profiling fictional fans of the network. Created by New York boutique Union and directed by MJZ's Rocky Morton, the campaign carries the tag "You're Among Friends," as an earnest voiceover details the lives of a businessman who works without pants, an incompetent photographer and a chronic underachiever. And the net can't be accused of pandering to viewers, or at least not to their better instincts. As one spot explains, Diane Holmes -- a housewife who we learn has slept with 142 men and only regretted two of them -- "is a shining example of a good Comedy Central viewer -- she's a bright, open-minded floozy with few regrets."
