Canadian hotshop Reginald Pike has launched U.S. satellite Reginaldo
to represent directors Brian Lee Hughes and Lena Beug in the States.
Hughes, a former senior AD at TBWA/Chiat/Day/San Francisco on Playstation, Fox Sports and adidas, has directed for Burger King and Macs Froster
, while Beug is an MTV promos alum who shot the channel's "Intro Guy" campaign and recently, spots for Canada's MADD
. Biscuit continues to rep Pike directors The Perlorian Brothers, Yael Staav and Mark Gilbert Stateside, while Hughes and Beug will be exclusive to the Reginald Pike and Reginaldo shingles. "It was something we decided we weren't going to pursue with Biscuit," explains co-founder James Davis, who will serve as EP, along with Josefina Nadurata. "It's a mutual agreement, and we hired our own reps. Both these directors have a huge amount of talent and are really interesting. We can build x amount for them here in Canada, but we need to be seeing good stuff from the U.S. for them as well." (AD)
