The New Zealand telecom and agency TBWA\New Zealand created an installation to call attention to climate change, featuring 49 frozen blocks of ice, some with mobile phones inside. Phone calls from “Earth” rang out endlessly from within the ice, but no one answered.
Brahma Kumaris
Outdoor ads in Australia from the spiritual organization are designed to calm people down during their stressful holiday time by offering pleasing shapes and instructions including breathing exercises. New agency Oblong created the campaign.
Church of Sweden
The church delivers its Christmas message about compassion and care through a series of stained glass windows hand-crafted by artists at Dekormakarna. The windows, created by agency Kid, show modern life rather than old religious stories, reminding the public that the most important gift is to help others.
Gobik
The cycling apparel brand made a charming spot celebrating the growth of the sport, with a song that nicely captures the camaraderie of riding together. Spanish agency Elastic handled the creative.
Karavan
The clothing brand’s lovely Christmas ad tells the story of a lonely Santa Claus who brightens the holidays for families but feels isolated himself. The film was directed by Jakob Ström.
KFC
The chicken chain is opening its first spin-off restaurant, called Saucy, in Orlando on Friday. As the name implies, the heart of Saucy’s menu is its 11 sauces, which customers can order individually or in a flight of four with their choice of chicken tenders. The sauces are Chimichurri Ranch, Peri Peri Ranch, Jalapeno Pesto Ranch, Smokey Bacon Ranch, Thai Sweet ’N Spicy, Sweet ’N Saucy BBQ, Saucy’s Sauce, Spicy Mango Chutney, Saucy Ranch, Creole Honey Mustard and Sweet Teriyaki.
Liquid Death x Gopuff
The brands have made three limited-edition hot tubs resembling cans of Liquid Death. Through Jan. 3, people who spend $20 or more on Liquid Death products through Gopuff will get a free Liquid Death- and Gopuff-branded bathing suit (limit one per customer, while supplies last) and an automatic entry to win one of the hot tubs.

Outback Steakhouse
Koala on the Walla, Outback’s version of Elf on the Shelf—it watches you intently to see if you deserve steak—is back for a second holiday. This time, it’s a Koala at the Malla, as a giant version is showing up at shopping malls around the country (in cities including Concord, North Carolina; Chattanooga, Tennessee; Roswell, Georgia; and Orlando and Tampa, Florida) in spots usually reserved for Santa. The first 200 visitors at each location will get to bring home their own plush koala “and maybe nightmares,” said Outback agency Mischief @ No Fixed Address. There’s also a new TV spot.
Sandisk
The flash drive maker unveiled a rebrand based around a single pixel, which appears in the S of the logo. ELA Advertising helped develop the new visual identity, which has generally been getting praise online.
Shiner
Texans don’t typically get to enjoy sipping a drink next to a warm, crackling fireplace at the holidays. So, Shiner and agency Bakery dreamed up the Shiner Holiday Cheer Fireplace Pack, a limited-edition 12-pack that comes with a built-in fan-powered paper fireplace to capture the spirit of a cozy holiday hearth.
Titan Casket x Focus Features
Titan has designed a one-of-a-kind casket inspired by the upcoming Robert Eggers film “Nosferatu,” a remake of the 1922 German film. It’s selling for $3,999 and is designed for “those drawn to gothic elegance,” Titan said.

The Norwegian virtual payments brand goes up against Apple Pay with an amusing spot from agency Try and director Morten Borgestad, playing off the familiar feeling of forgetting your wallet.
YouTube
The video site posted a playlist of the top-performing ads on the platform in 2024, including Volvo, Louis Vuitton, McDonald’s, Nike, Old Spice and more. Many of the ads are creator shorts rather than traditional TV-style spots. YouTube also posted a Gemini analysis of over 13,000 ads from around the world that performed well on the platform to learn what helped them break through.
Zoopla
The U.K. property website launched a campaign from Lucky Generals called “Win at Moving,” which borrows some of the more over-the-top tropes of sports advertising to establish Zoopla as a key partner for home moving. The spot features a voiceover by Michael Sheen and an original track by YouTooCanWoo.
