Hundreds of Twitter staffers left the company Thursday after Elon Musk called for employees to commit to a new “extremely hardcore” attitude at work or take severance and leave by 5 p.m. ET, according to The Verge. That, combined with Musk having already fired half of the 7,500-person workforce when he first took over earlier this month, led many to speculate that the platform would struggle to continue operating.
If the site had any trouble keeping operational, at least RadioShack was there as backup. “We’re ready to help out, you have my number (it’s in your DMs if you follow us),” the brand tweeted.
