Cross-Promotional Deal to Reach Hispanic Web Users

NEW YORK ( -- AOL Time Warner's America Online and Univision Communications announced a strategic content and marketing alliance to help both companies reach more Hispanic Internet users.

America Online will run a Spanish-language TV campaign across the broadcaster's three channels: Univision, cable channel Galavision and Telefutura, the second network Univision is launching in January 2002.

America Online, which phased in a Spanish-language service called AOL Latino this year, will add content from, the largest Spanish-language Web site. And will feature services like AOL e-mail and AOL Instant Messenger.
