Calvin Klein launches an ad campaign Feb. 1 for cK Calvin Klein Jeans. Developed by in-house agency CRK Advertising, New York, ads run through April 15. To support the campaign, Calvin Klein last week launched a microsite on MTV.com. The microsite (www.ckjnet

work.mtv.com) developed by MTV.com will showcase musicians featured in the jeans campaign, including Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, Macy Gray and Moby.

FreeScholarships.com taps Yahoo! for launch

FreeScholarships.com, a Cambridge, Mass., online sweepstakes site that awards education money to people who register, is teaming with Yahoo! on a concert promotion. FreeScholarships and Yahoo! are sponsoring a music tour targeting college students and teens in 20 cities nationwide. The eight-week tour starts Feb. 2. The start-up also is sponsoring a microsite Yahoo! developed for the tour. Yahoo! is spending $1.5 million in offline media and is promoting the tour on its site. DVCi Technologies, Morristown, N.J., created the marketing plan for FreeScholarships.
