Renault taps Publicis in Taiwan

[Taipei] Renault and its local distributor, Yulon Motors, appointed Publicis Groupe's Publicis Worldwide, Renault's global agency in most markets except Latin America, to handle its $2 million advertising and below-the-line marketing such as PR and event management in Taiwan. Omnicom Group's DDB Worldwide and local agency Shape also pitched for the business, previously handled by local shop Ideology. Media planning and buying were not reviewed and remain at Aegis-owned Carat.
