Gillette will sponsor a task in the fifth season of NBC’s The Apprentice to promote its new five-bladed Fusion razor, while Wal-Mart-owned Sam’s Club will use the show to push its chain of warehouse stores. | L’Oreal Paris and Banana Republic will return as integrated sponsors of the second season of Bravo’s reality show Project Runway, while Saturn, TRESemme and Orbitz will also back the show. In return for placement, which pits 16 aspiring designers against each other through design challenges, the marketers will promote the show on-air and in print. Saturn will provide the winner with $100,000 in seed money to help launch a clothing line and a 2007 Saturn Sky Roadster. The winner will also receive a mentorship from the Banana Republic Design Team. The series returns Dec. 7.
