Apple and Pepsi-Cola North America unveiled a promotion to legally award Pepsi consumers 100 million free songs from Apple's iTunes Music Store, now available to both Mac and PC users. Starting February 1, 100 million winning codes will be randomly seeded in 20 ounce and 1 liter bottles of Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, and Sierra Mist…DirecTV's $10 million DVR-dedicated consumer ad campaign is breaking this month and will run through the end of the year. National print includes Maxim, Sports Illustrated, Entertainment Weekly, and PeopleDiscovery Networks is bowing a new cross-platform partnership with Kraft Foods North America that includes the Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, Discovery Home & Leisure Channel, BBC America, Discovery Kids Channel, and the Saturday morning Discovery Kids block on NBC. The year-long deal was negotiated by Starcom MediaVest Group's MediaVest USA, Kraft's media agency of record.
