Who she is: She is Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Artist Development for the RCA Music Group, encompassing both the RCA and J. labels, whose artist rosters include Annie Lennox, Dave Matthews Band, Christina Aguilera, and Busta Rhymes.

Where she's from: She began her career in music in tour marketing at Capitol Records in Los Angeles. She later joined Arista Records where she was Director of Special Markets before joining J Records upon its launch in 2000.

She also facilitated a deal partnering "American Idol"'s Kelly Clarkson with Candies, the shoewear brand.

What's next: She is currently looking at deals for fellow "American Idol" upstarts Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard, whose records just hit the marketplace. Overall, she is also focused on partnerships in the wireless arena as well as the legal digital download arena.
