Hot Topic Expo, an online and in-store event from the pop culture retailer, takes place. The event will include new exclusive merchandise from Disney, Sanrio, Funko and DC Comics.
Dec. 14
The Federal Trade Commission holds an open meeting that will include reviewing regulations on environmental marketing claims. The Commission plans to vote on publishing information regarding its “Green Guides.”
Dec. 15
Disney honors one of its contemporary classics with “Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration” on ABC (synergy!) at 8 p.m. ET. The two-hour special will blend animated clips and live performances from the likes of H.E.R. (as Belle) and Josh Groban (as the Beast).
Dec. 16
“Avatar: The Way of Water” hits U.S. theaters, 13 years after the first film. Mercedes-Benz is among the film’s sponsors.
“The 90th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade” special airs on The CW at 8 p.m. ET. (The show was taped on Nov. 27, when the parade actually happened.)
