If someone said they were sending you a Christmas card made out of bacteria, you might be tempted to call the police. However, media company Curb has launched a new natural (and entirely safe) medium created out of bacteria that glow in the dark without the need for electricity or chemicals. The bacteria can be cultivated to create installations of any size on floors, walls or cards.

To launch this new product, Curb sent out a Christmas e-card showing a video animation of the bio-luminescent bacteria depicting various Christmas scenes such as Christmas trees, reindeer, bells and snowmen.
