Allison Arden Named Publisher of Ad Age, Creativity

Replaces Scott Donaton, Who Moves to Entertainment Weekly

NEW YORK ( -- Advertising Age has promoted Allison Price Arden to be its next publisher, succeeding Scott Donaton, who is leaving to become publisher of Time Inc.'s Entertainment Weekly. In her new role, effective Dec. 3, Ms. Arden will oversee all print, digital and event operations for Ad Age and its Crain Communications sibling Creativity.

Former associate publisher
Ms. Arden has been associate publisher of Ad Age for the past year and before that held posts including general manager of Ad Age Interactive and director of business development and custom programs. She joined Ad Age in 1996 as a sales representative.

"We're delighted that Allison has stepped up to be publisher," said Rance Crain, president of Crain Communications and editor in chief of Ad Age, in a statement today. "She has a tremendous history of success at Ad Age, and we can't imagine a better person for the job."
