NEW YORK ( -- There's a new overseer for web advertising, marketing and business operations at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.

The company named Beth-Ann Eason to the newly created post of senior VP-internet division. That division is preparing, among other things, the important spring relaunch of

Ms. Eason was poached from Yahoo, where she had been VP-category development for the last four years. She previously held posts including senior VP-business development at Ziff Davis Media and VP-general manager at DoubleClick.

She will report to Holly Brown, president of the internet division.

"Beth-Ann brings over 18 years of deep advertising and marketing experience, the majority of it in the digital space," Ms. Brown said. "Her experience, combined with her strong industry relationships, will be great assets to our team as we accelerate our advertising and marketing efforts in anticipation of the newly redesigned website and beyond."
