Media Research Vet Moves to Turner

Stacey Lynn Schulman Headed IPG's Consumer Experience Practice

NEW YORK ( -- Time Warner's Turner Broadcasting has named Madison Avenue veteran Stacey Lynn Schulman as senior VP of Turner Entertainment Ad Sales Research.

Best known, perhaps, for her predictions about the success of TV shows while working for Interpublic Group of Cos.' Initiative, Ms. Schulman has had a long career in the media business.

When she started at Katz Communications as Stacey Lynn Koerner, she was conducting programming and local market research before moving to CBS as a senior research analyst. She also spent 10 years working with Interpublic in a variety of roles. After working as senior VP-director of broadcast research and exec VP-director of global research for Initiative, she became president in 2007 of Interpublic's Consumer Experience Practice.

She will report to Jack Wakshlag, Turner's chief research officer, and will be based in New York. In her new role, she will work closely with ad-sales executives from Turner Entertainment Ad Sales, Turner Sports and ad sales executive management teams from Turner's various cable properties.

Turner owns TNT, TBS and Cartoon Network, among other properties.
