Jonathan Dubow to exec VP-marketing for the Africa Channel, a new independent TV network that launched Sept. 1. He will be responsible for marketing activities as the channel launches in new markets, and managing many agency relationships, including DZP Marketing Communications,
Jonathan Dubow
with which he will work on strategic planning and developing the Africa Channel brand. Previously, Mr. Dubow was VP-integrated marketing at Carat. Prior to that, he was senior managing director at Fusion 5, a WPP consulting firm, and earlier was senior VP at Millsport, an Omnicom agency. He also ran the advertising and marketing programs for ABC Sports, and worked with Capitol Records and Disney while working at Grey Entertainment.

Kara Rousseau joins Disney ABC Kids Networks as VP-ad sales, responsible for the management of national consumer promotions and marketing partnerships for Disney's children's TV platforms. Ms. Rousseau joins Disney ABC Kids Networks from Time Warner, where she served for more than four years, most recently as VP-marketing for the Time Warner Global Marketing group. She also worked at Turner Broadcasting as director-strategic marketing with the Turner Marketing Solutions Group. She has also held account executive positions at New York advertising agencies Lowe & Partners/SMS and Hill, Holliday/Altschiller.

Lisa Hsia was named as senior VP-new media and special projects, Bravo. She joins Bravo from NBC News, where she served as VP-news. In her new role at Bravo, Ms. Hsia will be responsible for new and emerging media, and facilitate business initiatives including wireless, digital, home video, international and ancillary rights. She will also develop and initiate original programming. At NBC News, she was responsible for prime-time news programming, “The Today Show” and NBC News Productions. She was also senior producer for "Dateline NBC." Ms. Hsia joined NBC News from ABC News, where she was a producer for "Prime Time Live" from 1989-92.

Sam Moser was named VP-southern sales, Fox News Channel, based in Dallas, Texas. He was most recently VP-advertising sales, Southwest and Western regions for the Game Show Network. Prior to the Game Show Network, Mr. Moser held numerous executive advertising sales positions at Viacom from 1988 to 2001, including senior VP-advertising and sales for Nickelodeon and TV Land and, earlier, VP-sales, VH1. Also, Mike Mandelker was named VP-Eastern sales. His expanded responsibilities within the advertising sales division include supervising the New York sales staff and their outside territories, direct-response sales and new-business development. Before joining FNC, he was exec VP-network sales for UPN since 1998. Prior to UPN, he held a number of executive advertising sales positions at NBC for 15 years, including senior VP-prime-time sales. He began his career working in advertising sales at ABC from 1977-1984.

John Vitolo was promoted associate publisher-sales and marketing, Yankee Publishing, best known for Yankee Magazine and The Old Farmer’s Almanac.

Stan Kozlowski was promoted to senior VP-strategic sales development for Sirius Satellite Radio, from senior VP-retail. Consumer electronics industry veteran Mike Roberts was named VP-retail distribution. Previously, he was North American sales manager for Delphi Corp.

Michael Knize was named director-Southwest sales for ABC Radio Networks, responsible for leading the sales efforts for all ABC Radio Networks properties in the eight-state Southwest territory. Most recently he was an account executive for ESPN Radio, where he was responsible for both the Southwest and Southeast territories. Prior to joining ESPN, Mr. Knize was manager-ad sales marketing for AMFM Radio Networks/Premiere Radio Networks.
