|NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- 'Marie Claire' and Drew Barrymore co-hosted a reception and silent auction on March 13 at the International Center of Photography. Guests bid on photographs taken during Editor-in-Chief Lesley Jane Seymour's recent trip to Africa with Ms. Barrymore. In honor of Marie Claire's World Hunger Campaign, all proceeds from the event, which raised $20,000, were donated to the United Nations World Food Program. Court TV's Unexpected Heroes Initiative is an ongoing effort that seeks to honor those who demonstrate acts of bravery or courage and go above and beyond the call of duty to keep their communities and the nation safe.
