NEW YORK ( -- There's still time! You may have missed the Oct. 4 entry deadline for the 2010 Media Vanguard Awards, but by popular demand we've briefly extended the deadline -- this is the second and final extension -- to Friday, Oct. 8. Which is today.

If you're in media and your company (print, broadcast or digital-native) has created one or more next-generation media products -- including mobile and iPad apps, web audio or video, blogs, websites, social media and more -- the MVAs are for you.

Marketers creating media are eligible too as part of our special "Marketer-as-Media Spotlight."

If you and your team have been building awesome new media products that extend your franchise into the emerging digital landscape and connect with audiences in new ways, this is your opportunity to get the recognition you deserve from the media and marketing community.
