Lost in the shuffle were Ed Fones, a longtime Rodale executive and senior vice president and managing director of its Men's Health group, and Paul Turcotte, publisher of Men's Health.
Mr. Fones' functions will be consolidated under Tom Beusse, the former senior vice president and managing director of the Sports and Fitness Group, which will now become the Men's Health and Sports Group.
Mr. Turcotte will be replaced as U.S. publisher of Men's Health by May Ann Bekkedahl, international ad director for Men's Health. She will continue to perform international ad director duties until a replacement is found.
Additionally, Joyce Shirer was promoted to the senior circulation marketing director of Men's Health and Sports. Previously, she had served in the same position for the Men's Health Group.
In October, Rodale cut 148 positions -- around 13% of its workforce-and then shuttered its short-lived teen-aimed Men's Health offshoot MH-18, which resulted in additional layoffs.
