In the A Partnership`s first Chinese-language ads for General Motors Corp.'s Buick in the U.S., a peacock gazes at the Buick Rendezvous. In the Chinese culture, it is believed that a peacock spreads his feathers when he sees something beautiful. In a print ad promoting its smooth ride, a Buick drives over a wrinkled white surface, leaving it as smooth, as if ironed.
