Mad Dogs & Englishmen has three new TV spots that show us how silly it is not to use MovieFone when going out to catch a flick. In one spot, we meet a man who believes in the "old-fashioned way" of doing things -- he licks his car clean. Another nostalgic moment proves that before popcorn, people consumed large bags of deviled eggs with their sodas and movie. A third spot parodies foreign films, with a subtitled movie about a man who couldn't use MovieFone because he spent his life staring at a potato.

Not since Casino has so much blood been spilled during a card game. Richard Sears directs three hysterical :30s for WongDoody and Magic: The Gathering. Taking place in the fictional Magic Testing Facility, we see scientists creating and perfecting creatures for the game. In one spot, we find that the Raging Goblin is out sick, so hapless Bob from Accounting is called in to fight the Orgg, an enormous bloodthirsty monster. After Bob screams and a huge wash of blood covers the window, the scientists declare with devilish glee that "the first round goes to the Orgg." In another spot, a monster named Poodle Boy doesn't qualify for the game, and is consigned to the mailroom.
