NEW YORK-Finalists have been chosen for the 1995 American Association of Advertising Agencies' A+ Creative Awards.

The competition is broken down into two categories: agencies with more than $30 million in billings and agencies with up to $30 million in billings.

Finalists in the first category in the eastern region include Ammirati & Puris/Lintas; Angotti, Thomas, Hedge; J. Walter Thompson USA; and Cliff Freeman & Partners, all New York; the Martin Agency, Richmond, Va.; and Mullen, Wenham, Mass.

Central: Bozell Worldwide, Detroit; and Carmichael Lynch, Fallon McElligott and Martin/Williams, all Minneapolis. Western: Borders, Perrin & Norrander, Portland, Ore.; and Foote, Cone & Belding and Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising, both San Francisco. Southern: Crispin & Porter, Miami, and GSD&M, Austin, Texas.

In the second category, the eastern regional finalists are Clarke Goward, Boston, and DeVito/Verdi, New York.

Central: Clarity Coverdale Fury, Minneapolis. Southern: Lawler Ballard Van Durand, Birmingham, Ala. Western: EvansGroup, Salt Lake City, and Moffatt/Rosenthal, Portland, Ore.

Winners will be announced at the association's annual meeting April 28 in Orlando.
