7UP relaunch advanced to Jan. 18

The national launch of reformulated 7UP was moved up to Jan. 18 by Dr Pepper/Seven Up, which has bought time on the Super Bowl pre-game broadcast, the company said. The launch, originally slated for Jan. 26, the day after the Super Bowl, is supported by new TV ads from Y&R Advertising, New York. The reformulated product, unveiled for bottlers last September, has an enhanced lemon and lime flavor.
