Although Burnett has had an international presence since opening its first non-U.S. office in Canada in 1952 and its first overseas office in London 10 years later, the agency's global network has enjoyed by far its greatest growth in the last decade.

During that period, international billings have nearly quadrupled, surging from $599 million in 1985 to more than $2.366 billion in 1994 (compared with U.S. billings of $2.226 billion in the same year).

Also, the number of non-U.S. offices has doubled in the decade, now standing at 64 offices in 54 markets. On this pages are samples of the agency's creative work from five of these markets.
