[New York] Advertising Age adds two editorial staffers to its bureau here this month, further strengthening its coverage of package-goods marketing and ad agencies.

Judann Pollack returns to the New York office as deputy bureau chief, effective May 28. She will coordinate package-goods coverage and report on the food industry and all non-alcoholic beverages except soft drinks. Ms. Pollack, most recently Chicago-based features editor, is an 11-year veteran of Ad Age and was a reporter in the New York office from 1985 to 1992.

Laura Petrecca joins Ad Age today as a reporter. She will cover ad agencies in tandem with Mark Gleason, who also continues to cover soft drinks. Ms. Petrecca has been an editorial assistant at USA Today since 1993, working on the Ad Watch feature and writing or contributing to more than 100 articles.

"Judann Pollack's return to New York and the addition of Laura Petrecca to the bureau reflect our continued commitment to breaking news and providing sophisticated coverage of our core industries," said Scott Donaton, executive editor of Ad Age.
