Ms. Stanley will report on all aspects of entertainment marketing, including film studios, music labels and talent agencies. Her addition to Ad Age is aimed at building on its market-leading coverage of branded entertainment, and expanding reporting on music and pop culture.
Having started her career at The Fort Lauderdale News in Florida, Ms. Stanley has held senior reporting positions at The Courier Journal in Kentucky and The Los Angeles Daily News. In 1995 she moved to Media-week as a senior writer, before becoming entertainment editor at Brandweek. Most recently she was senior TV correspondent at Inside.com, and has been a freelance writer for the Los Angeles Times and Entertainment Weekly.
