Yo! Aaron Paul of Breaking Bad doesn't need the media. He interviews himself.
When Advertising Age asked Mr. Paul for an interview Saturday night during the NFL Honors Award Show at Radio City Music Hall, he turned our iPhone on himself.
The rising Hollywood star said he'll appear in a Super Bowl commercial tonight from DreamWorks for his upcoming racing flick "Need for Speed."
Ford cut a heavy-duty product placement deal for the film in which the new Mustang will ride along as a co-star. Paul races a one-of-a-kind, blue and white Ford Mustang in a cross country race for revenge. The Detroit auto-maker also placed a Ford-450 truck known as "The Beast" in the movie which opens March 14.
"It's a crazy, crazy ride across country. A race against time. We're going to drive some insane cars," he said.
Ford itself didn't buy any ad time during Fox's telecast of Super Bowl XLVIII tonight between the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks. But it will air a new spot after the coin toss starring actor James Franco right after the coin toss but just before kickoff, according to James Farley, EVP of global marketing.
