unveils redesigned site

Published on ., the 24-hour online news service of ABC News and part of Walt Disney Internet Group launched the redesign of its site Dec. 19. The redesign includes such features as "My," which allows users to type in a zip code and receive specific weather reports, sports scores and headlines applicable to that location; "MoneyScope," a business center offering breaking business news and personal finance, and, new to advertisers, the "Big Impression" ad unit, which offers ads that are 30 percent bigger than traditional banners. Most ABC News shows will have a presence at the top of each page, and "Good Morning America" content will drive a large portion of the Lifestyles page.
