Invesco Funds Group has tapped the Richards Group, Dallas, for its estimated $6 million account, ending a four month search. The mutual fund company tapped the shop to replace the Boston Group, which had been handling direct-response advertsing; the Richards Group may be assigned additional tasks as well, said Stephen Moran, director of advertising for Invesco.
Shell Oil Co., Houston, to Don Coleman Advertising, Southfield, Mich., as its first African-American agency, after a review. Billings were not disclosed.
New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business to Lotas Minard Patton McIver, New York, as its first agency of record. Billings were not disclosed.
