The Southern California Kentucky Fried Chicken dealers' association has begun a search for a new agency. It is the second key account at Ketchum Advertising, Los Angeles, to go into review this year; Ketchum currently is defending its $120 million Acura account.

The Florida Lottery, Tallahassee, to HMS Partners/McFarland & Drier, Miami, from Yesawich Pepperdine Brown, Orlando, for its $26 million advertising and marketing account. The Hispanic portion remains with Sanchez & Levitan, Coral Gables. A new public relations portion went to Robinson Lerer Sawyer Miller, Tallahassee.

Pete's Brewing Co., Palo Alto, Calif., has narrowed its account review--sort of. Twelve agencies, down from 233, are now in the running for the account, currently in-house. A decision is expected in September.
