[new york] Ann Marie Kerwin has joined Advertising Age as a senior editor covering print media, including consumer and business magazines, newspapers, and book publishing.

Ms. Kerwin was editor in chief of Cowles Business Media's Folio: First Day, a twice-weekly newsletter about the publishing industry, and a contributing editor to Folio. Before that, she covered magazine publishing for Inside Media and newspaper advertising for Editor & Publisher.

Separately, James Arndorfer will join the Chicago bureau of Ad Age April 28 as a reporter, with responsibilities for covering beer and liquor marketing and financial services.

Mr. Arndorfer has been with American Banker since 1993; he spent three years in the Washington bureau before relocating to the Chicago bureau.
