'Ad Age International' extends deadline for entries for Latin American awards

Ad Age International is extending the deadline for entries to the third annual Latin American Advertising Effectiveness Awards to Monday, July 10.

To be eligible, campaigns must have run in more than one Latin American country. Entries must be submitted in the form of a case study, describing advertising, creative and media strategy and, most importantly proof of effectiveness, such as an increase in market share, sales, or brand awareness. Creative work should accom-pany each entry. This year for the first time Internet ad campaigns can be entered.

Ad Age International's effectiveness awards were created to recognize regional advertising that works and contributes to marketers' successes in Latin America. Entries are judged by a panel of regional marketers. The jury will be chaired this year by Rafael de Guzman, VP-marketing operations for Motorola in Latin America. Winners will be announced at an Ad Age International awards dinner in Miami on October 12 in conjunction with the IAA Florida chapter's annual conference on October 13.

The July 10 deadline is final as entries will be sent to the judges that week to be read in advance of the judging.
