Advertising Age and Bloomberg's AdMarket 50 index of 50 top publicly traded marketers, agency and media companies dropped 12.45% in the 12 months since the Sept. 11 attacks. That's compared to a loss of 12.27% for the Dow Jones Industrial Average, a 17.7% loss for the Standard & Poor's 500 Index All comparisons are based on closing prices Sept. 7, 2001-the Friday before the attacks-and Sept. 6, 2002.
