(Aug. 29, 2001) -- Adobe Systems, San Jose, Calif., has narrowed the review for its $20 million account to two, with possibly a third or fourth agency to be named later.

Named so far are Omnicom Group's Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco, and Interpublic Group of Cos.' Deutsch, Los Angeles.

One or two other agencies may be included as finalists, the names of which will be announced next week, an executive involved in the pitch said.

WPP Group's Y&R Advertising, San Francisco, is the incumbent. Select Resources International, West Hollywood, Calif., is handling the review.

Adobe Systems is the maker of the popular desktop and Web publishing tools PhotoShop and Acrobat. -- Alice Z. Cuneo
