Ad Age Launches Mobile App for iPhone, iPod Touch

Includes In-Feed Search, Easy-Tweet Feature

NEW YORK ( -- In our quest to bring you all the Ad Age news, views, analysis and data in whatever form you want to consume it, we're delighted to bring you a new app for the iPhone and iPod Touch called Ad Age Latest News.

We've got a simple framework to allow you to access all the content from various Ad Age sections, from Digital and Agency News to Mediaworks, Goodworks and Small Agency Diary.

The app's $1.99 price tag includes access to some content that would otherwise be behind Ad Age's pay wall, a specialized option to search within feeds, and a shortcut to Twitter to tweet interesting stories quickly. It is available for purchase in the iTunes App Store.

"We partnered with Newsgator and used their TapLynx SDK as an intermediary layer on top of Xcode, instead of developing it natively," said Rahmin Pavlovic, Ad Age's general manager of online. "It was simple. The harder part was getting it onto iTunes."
