Alberto, BBDO split

Alberto Culver Co., Melrose Park, Ill., and BBDO Chicago have agreed to end their 10-year relationship. Alberto Culver, with estimated billings of $10 million, will reassign advertising for its VO5 haircare products as well as Molly McButter and Static Guard brands either through a review or assigning the business to one of the company's existing agencies: E. Morris Communications, Lois GGK or Partners & Shevack.
