Allied Domecq Spirits USA, Old Greenwich., Conn., finalized the structure of its marketing reorganization, creating three group VP positions reporting to newly appointed Senior VP-Chief Marketing Officer Paul R. Block. Two of the three group VPs already have been named: Cheryl Palmer takes the position of general manager-central marketing resources, from VP-marketing for Domecq Importers. Among the areas she will oversee are research, sales promotion, marketing services, new-product development and managing key brands including Drambuie, Midori and Maker's Mark. Dave Waluk takes the title of group marketing director, overseeing Canadian Club, Beefeater and Courvoisier. He previously was group VP-marketing director of Hiram Walker's whiskeys and liqueurs. The third group VP will be responsible for Allied Domecq Spirits' High Energy brands, including Kahlua liqueur and Sauza tequila.
