Apple shoots, Microsoft ducks

Apple Computer on Monday begins a defensive print campaign aimed at showing Macintosh is still better than Microsoft Corp.'s Mac-like Windows 95 software. "It looks like a duck. It walks like a duck. It quacks like a duck. Too bad it's a decoy," warns one ad expected to run in business publications after Aug. 24, launch day for Windows '95. The multimillion-dollar "Windows truth campaign," from BBDO Worldwide, Los Angeles, also will run in computer publications.
