TORONTO - Ault Foods of Toronto has awarded its $5m ad account to a small Toronto agency, Holmes, Donin, Alloul. Ault had been without an agency since July after
Lowe/SMS merged with Roche Macaulay & Partners Advertising, both of Toronto. The merger was a result of Lowe's U.S. parent, The Lowe Group of New York, buying a piece of Roche Macaulay, leaving Roche Macaulay in charge of the combined agency. Ault president and CEO, Graham Freeman, was not happy with the merger and Lowe resigned the business.
