Interactive advertising has become the most exciting and potent marketing force to come along in years. Yet it remains controversial as new forms of interactive media are created nearly every day. As part of the first-ever Interactive Advertising & Media Awards competition, Advertising Age along with 12 judges set out to set a standard of quality by choosing the best and the brightest advertising created in nine different interactive media categories.

On the following pages Ad Age presents the finalists in the awards competition. The winners of each category will be announced at New Media Expo April 12-14 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles.
