Bay Networks chooses candidates for review

Bay Networks has chosen 14 agencies and four media buying services as part of the review of its worldwide account, estimated at $15 million to $20 million.

Candidates include Amazon Advertising; Anderson & Lembke; Campbell-Ewald; Foote, Cone & Belding; Hanft Byrne Raboy Abrams Partners; Hampel/Stefanides; Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos; Ingalls Advertising; Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners; Long Haymes Carr; Mendelsohn/Zien; Mezzina/Brown; Partners & Simons; and the Martin Agency. Incumbent Euro RSCG Dahlin Smith White chose not to participate in the review. Media buying services chosen are DeWitt Media, ICG, Western International Media and incumbent Freeman Associates.

The agencies will present creative tomorrow and Friday, and media buyers will make presentations on Aug. 11. Nine finalist agencies will make additional presentations Sept. 1 and the selection will be annouced Sept. 25.
