BBH USA loses creative director to Wieden

Bartle Bogle Hegarty USA Creative Director Ty Montague left the New York agency to take a position as co-creative director at the New York office of Wieden & Kennedy. Mr. Montague joined BBH when it launched its U.S. office in 1998. The BBH flagship office is in London with another satellite office in Singapore. "BBH is a brand that's bigger than the sum of the individuals within it,'' said Cindy Gallop, BBH USA president. "Our clients are saddened that Ty is leaving, but they are all fine because they know the agency as a whole will continue to deliver what they are looking for.'' John Hegarty, BBH chairman and partner, will take over for Mr. Montague until a successor can be found. Mr. Montague will be teaming up at Wieden with co-creative director Amy Nicholson, previously senior art director at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco.
