Beatles take Sunday

An estimated 47 million viewers tuned into ABC's Sunday night coverage of the first installment of its three-part "The Beatles Anthology." The 2-hour special delivered an average 18.6 Nielsen rating and a 28 share in the 33 Nielsen metered markets, about what ABC and some ad agencies had estimated, though the national rating could come down slightly when the numbers come in. ABC's coverage handily beat NBC miniseries "Dead by Sunset," which had a 12.3 rating, and CBS movie "Remember Me," at 10.5. Parts two and three of the "Anthology" air on Wednesday and Thursday.
