Bozell buys London direct marketing shop

LONDON -- Bozell Worldwide has acquired a majority stake in London-based Marketing Drive, one of the 15 largest marketing services agen- cies in the U.K. It handles promotional market- ing, direct marketing, advertising and design for clients including Chrysler, the Financial Times, Hasbro U.K. and Guinness. The 65-person agency will continue to be managed by Chairman Mark Timbrell and Chief Executive Clive Mishon.

Bozell Worldwide President/CEO David Bell says of the acquisition: "Marketing Drive, together with Direct Friends in Hamburg and Terre Lune in Paris, enables Bozell to develop further its media neutral capabilities throughout Europe and around the world."
