Applebee's International, Overland Park, Kan., narrowed its review to three shops--Campbell Mithum Esty, Minneapolis; Foote, Cone & Belding, Chicago; and the Richards Group, Dallas. Incumbent Wyse Advertising Cleveland, is out. The 1,100-unit restaurant chain expects to pick the winner for its $36 million account by the end of July., Dallas, to Integer Dallas for its $3 million to $5 million branding account. The company provides insurance quote services for group health brokers and small businesses online and free of charge. The campaign initially will target California, Colorado, Illinois and Texas.

Terry Darland to VP-marketing for Aramis, Estee Lauder Cos., New York, from VP-national sales manager, Aramis. She succeeds Scott Creighton, who moved to a new post with Lauder's Clinique International division. Succeeding Ms. Darland is Sherrie Gleeson, from regional marketing director-Midwest region. Also: Stacy Boge to VP-creative services responsible for all Aramis brands, from principal at Design Supply, a New York-based agency. She succeeds Jeanne Chinard, now senior VP-creative director for Prescriptives and Donna Karan Cosmetics.

David Doss, president of Yellowstone Group, Irvington, N.Y., died June 13 in Tarrytown, N.Y. after a brief illness. He was 55.
