Mandi Norwood, 35, will be the next editor in chief of Conde Nast Publications' Mademoiselle, said James Truman, editorial director at New York-based Conde Nast. Ms. Norwood currently is editor of British Cosmopolitan. She will succeed Elizabeth Crow, whose eight-year tenure with Mademoiselle will end in December. Ms. Crow announced last week she was resigning.

Jonathan R. Jameson to senior VP-chief operating officer of Denny's, a new post where he will oversee operations, marketing and training for the Spartanburg, S.C.-based restaurant chain. Mr. Jameson retains his duties as senior VP-marketing until a successor is named.

CBS Corp., New York, will receive a 30% stake in Big Entertainment, parent company of, in exchange for $105 million in advertising and promotion. It is CBS' 12th Web investment.

William Apfelbaum to chairman-CEO, TDI Worldwide, New York, from president-CEO. Don Allman takes over the president slot, from chief operating officer. TDI is the out-of-home division of CBS Corp.'s Infinity Broadcasting Corp.

David Lyon, 39, to president, Temerlin McClain, Dallas, from group account director. He succeeds Dennis McClain at the True North Communications unit. Mr. McClain will remain CEO-chief creative director.
