LinkExchange today names Mark Bozzini as CEO. Mr. Bozzini was president-CEO of Pete's Brewing Co. for the past eight years and helped take the company public in 1995.
@plan exceeds 100 clients
Web market researcher @plan announces today it has signed more than 100 clients. The startup recently added to its client base interactive agency Think New Ideas, auto retailer Autoweb.com, content site Women.com and Boston ad agency Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos.
Interactive awards gain respect
Interactive awards shows are gaining the respect of mainstream advertisers and agencies. On April 20, the Global Information Infrastructure Awards, sponsored by Compaq Computer Corp., will be presented in Chicago. On April 23, the One Club for Art & Copy will present its first One Show Interactive awards in New York, judged by a panel of interactive agency executives, such as Tim Smith, president of Red Sky Interactive, and Kyle Shannon, chief creative officer at Agency.com. Also, June 22-27, the Cannes International Advertising Festival will recognize exemplary interactive marketing and advertising with its first Cyber Lions Awards.
PointCast shifts ad management
PointCast (www.pointcast.com) shifted its ad managers last week. Douglas Boake, former VP of PointCast International, has been named senior VP-sales. Mr. Boake replaces Anna Zornosa, senior VP-ad sales and affiliate development, who will become chief operating officer of San Francisco startup NetWeb. Other promotions include Lisa Gerould to VP-advertiser marketing and brand development from director of advertiser marketing.
